| I've finally started my Christmas shopping. I'm pretty proud of myself. I've gotten some good deals. I'm still not finished. Congratulations to Kim bah lee for graduating yesterday! We're all so proud of you! One more week and I'm on vacation from work for a while. I can't wait. I need to finish a lot of editing so I'll do that when I'm on vacation. My Dad is coming home next week too! Can't wait to see him. I haven't seen him since I got married!
Time to post some pics:
My cousin Angela who turns 9 today! Happy Birthday! I took this yesterday. I think it came out really nice.
This was taken in September. I took advantage of the nice day.
This was later on that night. I don't get the richness you get from daylight but it was still fun to take. I was laying on the ground with all the kids hovering around me in a circle.

Here's a teaser:
I'd also like to introduce our other new "animal" - the Dyson animal! You don't know clean until you've cleaned with a dyson!

| You know how Asian parents always pressure their children to be doctors? Well I'm going to be one of those parents. But my children will be veterinarians. Sure they'll probably have to be Aggies (yack!), but they will be veterinarians.

| My poor baby, Mochi. I had to check her into the Animal Emergency Hospital on Friday night because she had been vomitting for days. She wouldn't eat anything all week either. She was lethargic and non-responsive and her vomit turned green. If I hadn't taken her in she would have died that night. She had to be hydrated with IV's. X-ray after x-ray and test after test we sent her to a specialist Monday morning for an ultrasound and they found the obstruction in her small intestine. It wasn't definitive, but something was there. So we sent her to surgery. Well nearly 4 days later (and almost $5K later) it turns out she swallowed.....a corn on the cob! How she got a hold of one I have no idea. What I do know is that it's been nearly a month since we ate corn on the cob. I used to think people were crazy for spending that kind of money just for their pets, but once you go through it you know why. Pets are always there for you no matter what. They love you unconditionally and they love you more than some people do. If I had to do it all over again I would. I hope I can bring her home tomorrow! I love ma-ma-ma mochi!
